Established in 2019, SEID is a collaborative effort between legislators, civic professionals, and political rights activists dedicated to environmental justice, equitable public services, and active civic engagement. We address the complex challenges arising from Lebanon's political, social, and economic crisis, further strained by the Beirut Port explosion, COVID-19, and climate change. SEID conducts research, engages in lobbying, and fosters community involvement to achieve its goals.
We want to transform Lebanon into a place where the creation of knowledge, economic prosperity, social harmony, and environmental stewardship coexist. We envision a nation that prioritizes the well-being and dignity of all individuals within its borders, fostering a clean environment and inclusive societies that respect and protect human rights.
We work to empower Lebanese citizens to assert their rights, so that every individual can enjoy the right to live in a clean environment and is treated with unwavering dignity, fairness, and respect.

At SEID, we are committed to empowering communities and shaping solutions that address today's most pressing environmental and socio-economic challenges.
